Me As An Interpreter

It's finally over, my first try as an interpreter. Skipped a class to make it to the hotel for the education fair.

Yet, things didn't seem to go smooth enough for me.

Not many people stopped by my booth, and even less left their information.

The school delegate from Canada seemed to be quite disappointed. Me too after noticing his disappointment.

Too bad there wasn't time for depression. Jobs must still be done, flyers must be given out.

And time ticked away like this, with lotsa refusal, rejection and one boring look.

Now, it's finally over, my first try as an interpreter.

Didn't seem to be a good memory but will definitely be a good lesson.
